Toshiba announced the release of their new POS Integration Software. A software upgrade for Toshiba DVR and NVR systems, the POS Software enables integration with POS Registers, RS-232 Based POS solutions, and High Volume Checkout Systems over an RS-232 or TCP/IP connection.
Using the POS Software, transactions can be viewed as they happen, overlaid on existing video channels. Alerts can be configured, allowing instant notification of events such as no sales, voids, unique product IDs, and prices. Video searches can be performed based upon a specific item purchased or even the amount of change rendered at a transaction.
The POS Software provides enhanced functionality to Toshiba’s DVR Server, NVR IP-based recorder, SCS remote software, and Backup Viewer software applications.
