NAPCO Wins the Top Residential Award at ISC West

AMITYVILLE, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Napco Security Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: NSSC), one of the world’s leading suppliers of high performance electronic security equipment for over 30 years, today announced that its new, revolutionary product, iSee Video, has won the prestigious “Judges Choice Award for Residential Systems” at the security industry’s largest trade show - the International Security Conference West (ISC), currently being held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
At the show, the Security Industry Association’s New Product Showcase chose NAPCO’s latest offering from its iSee Video Division – the iSee Video EOP (Ethernet over Power) System – from a record field of entrants.
Learning of the award, NAPCO Chairman Richard Soloway commented, “This is an exciting achievement for NAPCO. It is especially rewarding given the large number of entrants in the annual industry competition.”
In reference to the business of iSee Video, Soloway stated, “The potential profitability from iSee Video can be substantial considering the millions of possible users for this ground-breaking technology. The iSee Video EOP System debuted to much excitement and interest at ISC West show. The system is a residential EOP version of the original iSee Video System which enables security dealers to affordably use security cameras to put their customers’ premises online for them to look in at anytime, anywhere they have web access via any computer or cellphone. With a very simple installation, the alarm company provides this web-based remote surveillance capability as a monthly-billed, value-added service to its subscribers. The innovative use of this new system’s Ethernet over Power technology enables the dealer to install the systems’ unique high-resolution cameras without the need to run conventional wires (in the walls). This leading edge technology uses any home’s existing powerlines to create the iSee Video transmission network, which is very dependable and very easy to implement on all premises by NAPCO’s network of security dealers.
